Jammer Weeks: 11 weeks on Windjammer Barefoot Cruises - Polynesia, Flying Cloud, Legacy, Yankee Clipper and Mandalay
3 weeks on Island Windjammers' Diamant
2 weeks on Captain Julian Legg's Oasis
Plus a bunch of FooFoos and the Catamaran Kuralu for a day! Can't forget the Jolly II Rover in Key West!
Favorite Ship: Diamant
Next Trip: Nothing scheduled yet...
I copied and pasted this from the 'Nut - a kind of a group attempt to reconstruct the events. I had planned to put this into a nice report when POOF went the nut. Hopefully I'll do it someday...
I'm trying to draft a trip report - but I'm having a little trouble remembering EXACTLY where we were the first few days - recovering from Jammerfest, I suppose! Can anyone fill in the gaps and let me know what else I've missed?

Sunday - Board ship, stowaway party (Was I even there??? I have no pictures - imagine that!!!)

Monday - Morning on Tortola (Where the heck was I??? Dellie has pictures of everyone at Pusser's!) Sail to _____?, swimming off the ship

Tuesday - Beach day on _____, drinks at _____ bar (I remember going over the hill and limiting myself to 2 painkillers - but where were we? Limit didn't seem to help me any!), lunch on the beach, Sea Hunt, PPP

Wednesday - The Baths on Virgin Gorda, Mad Dog's, Savannah Bay Beach, wine and cheese swizzles, wedding vow renewal with Rev. Heineken Pilsner, dancing ashore at the marina, Body Shots

Thursday - Kiwi jumped ship, Beach day on Jost van Dyke, Soggy Dollar Bar, formal wedding vow renewals after swizzles, dinner (lobster!) and dancing ashore at Rudy's/Foxy's

Friday - Beach day on Norman Island, Billy Bone's, lunch on the beach, Skippy's hike to Spy Glass Hill, kayak trip to Willie T's (sorry Mike!), Captain's Dinner

Saturday - Save RB from himself at the bar, Disembark and begin FART IIB!!!

When did Scuttlebutt have the Emergency?

Thanks!
Cinnamon: I think I can help fill some of the gaps - We sailed to a bay off of Peter's Island on Monday for the swim off the side of the ship.

Tuesday was at Cooper Island. Don't know the bar's name.

Now, If I remember (maybe) correctly - we were told on Mon how boring we were by Skippy - so on Tues morning Scuttlebutt received his name.
Meg is correct. Tuesday morning was the flood. Monday morning Kim, Mike, Dellie, Roger and I walked into town to do some shopping. Stopped by Pussers for a painkiller. Ran into Skippy at Pussers and then we all took a cab back to the ship. I believe (foggy memory though) that you slept in Monday. Maybe from to many STRONG swizzles at Stowaway???
Tammy: How could I possibly forget that wonderful walk into town - looking for and finding an ATM for Mike (don't call me Mandalay) and SmilinKim - and then off to a local place for some great drinks.
Seems like CinneMon's memories on Sunday and Monday are a bit light...

Sunday night Stowaway party had live band called Pan Vibes. Steel drums. There was some dancing. Sara came on board to say Hello to the FART'ers. Mike was MIA, think it was the combo Pain Killers, Sun, and Mezaline (sp?)

Monday was also Cap'n Adrian's famous hour + long safety drill. Attn on deck everyone! Salute Cap'n Adrian with proper way to enter the water! Kim fell asleep, Tuck with his beer holding life vest.
It's all (OK not all) starting to come back to me now! I remember the steel drum band. I even remember the limbo contest. In fact, I think that must be what did me in - Monday morning I could barely get out of bed due to my neck and back - not my head! (Kim can testify to that one...right Kim?) I think I made it to storytime, but took some pain killers (not the drink) and went below to relax my back. I don't think I had moved once when you all had returned from ashore! I've been to the chiropractor about a dozen times since I've been home - now I can finally tell him what happened! I think some of the photos I posted from Monday are out of sequence - that's part of what's been messing me up. (Future trip tip - no more photo downloads to the laptop under the influence of painkillers - either kind!)

Tuck - what dang bar did we climb the mountain to get to on Cooper Island??? We took some great photos of the ship along the way!

Thanks for the help everyone!
Was the bar at Cooper Island Beach Club? Not sure which bar y'all hiked over to. I must have been taking a nap at the time?
CinneMon we hiked over the hill on Jost Van Dyke to the Soggy Dollar Bar. We took a little hike on Cooper Island over these rocks to another beach - no bar there though!
I may be losing it. (I know - I already lost it!)
I (think?) I remember when we first arrived, we went for a barefoot walk along the beach in the opposite direction - those rocks were sharp and HOT! I suppose I should have learned from that little stroll that I'm not the hiking type. (Might have saved me from the Spy Glass Hill incident...) Maybe we didn't go to a bar on Cooper Island and I'm confusing it with the Soggy Dollar Bar on Thursday. Was Skippy's Bar the only watering hole on Cooper Island? If I didn't take any photos, it must not have happened! ;-)
You know, I really DID plan to draft daily trip reports each night...darn swizzles!
We did take a stroll along the beach on Cooper Island, to the right as you face the beach, to collect shells, etc.. The hike you refer to I do believe is on Jost. Where you hike over a small hill over to Soggy Dollar Bar. Remember we got off the launch and RB led a group immediately over there. Later there was a BBQ lunch on the beach and y'all hiked back over? Does this ring a bell?
Yes, Mike - the bells are ringing - very loudly! Barefoot sea shell stroll on Cooper Island but no beach bar. Downhill stroll from Mad Dog's to the Baths, then the uphill climb back to Mad Dog's (where even the cactus plants were dying of thirst) on Virgin Gorda. Hike over the hill on Jost van Dyke to Soggy Dollar Bar. Billy Bones and the death march to (almost) Spy Glass Hill on Norman Island. And of course, the Sea Kayak to Willie T's!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
(Evil wench, I am!) I can't wait for tomorrow!!!
Cinnemon - the day on Cooper Island was the day we saw all of the big purple jelly fish. Remember?? Also, RB, Tuck, Jim, Jollymon, Roger, Chiliguy etc... all stayed under that tree/shrub. All we had was Skippy's bar that day. I do have some pictures of that day. One of RB in the water...just what was he doing??
Hiya Skippy!

Glad to have you aboard the CT!
Since I crashed early on the Monday night of FART II, I was glad Cinnemon sent me the CD with shots of the body shots. You looked like an expert up there on the bar! (;-}

Good luck with the studies and hope you get to do the internship you really want.
We have some great pics (especially the body shots and railbates costume f-you!). Hope to find the time to get them published soon. We had a great time in St. Thomas with Jackiiiiiii. I remember every moment, unlike most of you. Where the fxxx am I? And who the fxxx are you? Salty Dogs, Hooo. Hooo. Hooo. We want to join you all at jammerfest next year. Anybody heard from Brad and Patty? I found numerous doubloons in my journal. Did I really drink that much? Obviously the answer is no.hahahahahahahah. Someone took my cigarette case three days into the trip, I think it was one of the "Boys". Do it again, do it again. Love ya all, Sheila and John
Apparently, on Cooper Island it was Tuck & Skippy's Beach Bar - where we ran out of Carib! (With a $60 bar tab - TUCK - I can see how that happened!) I wonder if they packed less Carib in the beach bar just to mess with us - since we didn't party enough for them the night before, we obviously didn't need much on the beach! Remember how painful it was waiting for the launch with the cold Carib to arrive...and then finding out it wasn't cold at all!!! Gee...my memory is starting to come back to me. I even remember the purple jellyfish now! But I never heard the original story about the nipple nibblers...RB???

Hey Mike! The weather in Seattle this weekend is supposed to be full of sun, sun and more sun! Bumbershoot with you and Sujata sounds like a blast! Definitely top down weather! To hell with work this weekend - I'm ready to PLAY!!!
Now don't the rest of you wish you had a Jammer who lived close by to play with?
Just re-read this thread.

"Nipple Nibblers" were at Jost Van Dyke. Only JollyMon and RailBait got attacked; SmilingKim tried, but they were repelled by the bikini top (tried to convince her to try again).

On JVD, Soggy Dollar was to the left of the landing; over the hill and far away was Great Harbor and Rudy's and Foxy's (I got my Foxy's souvenier, did you?).

Can't wait to see Sheila and John's pix!

I _still_ can't remember Cooper's Island. But, if our Junior Jammer, Skippy (aka:Sparky/aka:Biff) says I was there, then I mustave been.
