Windjammer News & Updates
The current status of Windjammer is unclear - the company has not provided any update to the public since the end of 2007. The home office in Miami is in foreclosure, and the building's contents have been sold at public auction. The Mandalay was sold at public auction in Panama to the Ecuadorian company Angermeyer Cruises. The Polynesia was sold at public auction in Aruba to the Portuguese company Pascoal, which has plans to rebuild the Polynesia and her sister ship, the Santa Maria Manuela. The Yankee Clipper is in Trinidad - status unknown. The Legacy is at anchor off the coast of Costa Rica - status unknown. The La Mer (Discoverer) is in Trinidad - status unknown.
